Huntsville, AL PROJECTXYZ, Inc. CEO Kimberly C. Lewis is among the 10 individuals nominated by President Joe Biden today to serve on key Administration boards and commissions. If the President’s appointment receives confirmation from the US Senate, Lewis will be among four individuals slated to serve as members of the Tennessee Valley Authority Board of Directors.
A life-long resident of Madison County, Alabama, Lewis’ 25-year career spans business operations and management, technology, and federal government contracting. Lewis started PROJECTXYZ in 2002 and leads a workforce across several subsidiaries that supports federal and commercial clients across engineering, logistics, technical services, manufacturing, and foreign military sales. During her career, Lewis would later become the first black female elected as Board Chair of the Huntsville/Madison Chamber of Commerce and most recently, the first minority owner of North Alabama’s only locally owned broadcast television station, WTZT-TV.
CEO Kim Lewis stated, “It is an incredible honor to be nominated by President Biden. Having lived in the Tennessee Valley all my life, TVA’s critical mission of harnessing the rich resources within the Tennessee Valley region to make life better for the residents has never been more important or relevant as it is today. The opportunity to make a positive difference and contribute to the overall strategy, policy and operations of TVA presents an extraordinary opportunity for all individuals under consideration. I am looking forward to participating in the US Senate confirmation process.”
