HEALS (Health Establishments at Local Schools)

HEALS, Inc. is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization in Huntsville, Alabama dedicated to providing accessible quality, school-based primary health care for children through collaborative efforts with the Huntsville City/Madison County school systems and the medical community. By providing on-site medical, dental, optometry care, and social services at participating schools, HEALS, Inc. makes an immediate difference in the lives of many children. It is their mission to keep children healthy and optimize their opportunities for success in school and society.

Safe Harbor Youth

Safe Harbor Youth is a place for at-risk youth to live, learn, and grow into mature, productive adults with the promise of a healthy and productive future. Their Transitional Living Program is for youth, ages 16-22, who have runaway from home, are neglected, homeless, living on the streets, or victims of human trafficking. The program name means resiliency, new life, and new beginnings. And that is what Safe Harbor Youth is to its residents.

National Children's Advocacy Center

The National Children's Advocacy Center (NCAC) recognizes that to protect children from abuse, prevention services must address individuals, families and the community. The local prevention programs of the NCAC reach out to almost 10,000 people in Huntsville/Madison County, Alabama each year. These programs offer a range of services to parents, children, schools and a variety of individuals and organizations throughout our community. We all want to have a safe, healthy, and happy community.

NDIA Tennessee Valley Chapter

NDIA, comprised of its affiliates, chapters, divisions, and 1,600 corporate and 85,000 individual members, is a non-partisan, non-profit, educational association that has been designated by the IRS as a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization - not a lobby firm - and was founded to educate its constituencies on all aspects of national security. The Tennessee Valley Chapter provides forums for dialogue and discussion and networking between the defense industry and government agencies in the Tennessee Valley. They support STEM activities and award scholarships and fellowships. They also provide a robust awards program to recognize government and industry individuals that contribute to National Security.

HASBAT, a non-profit organization, was founded in May of 1993 by local small technology companies to represent and promote the views and interests of small businesses in advanced technology and to support the development of opportunities within the federal, state, and/or local governments. HASBAT's mission is to increase business opportunities for high technology small businesses in the Huntsville area.
